The World's Largest Dessert Party
Event Ingredients
At 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 1st (it was no joke!) the Niagara College's Event Management Program Students unofficially officially broke the Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Dessert Party! We had 910 people gather in the Lower Level Gym/Cafe and we had over 5,000 desserts
Admission into the end was minimum donation of $5 and all proceeds has gone to the Many Hands Project recipient Strive Niagara.
We had live music, & an awesome light show donated by By Request Entertainment & SoundBox. They brought the hype and created an amazing party atmosphere atmosphere for our guests!
Following the record-breaking attempt there was a VIP After Party where our guest had the opportunity to further celebrate with us.
The tickets were $20 and included entrance to the record-breaking portion of the day, a buffet dinner, and access to The Armoury (located at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus) where there was an intimate celebration with some of the event's sponsors and other VIPs.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and help through this amazing experience/journey! We cannot express enough how greateful we are.
At the after party we had Grace Johnson who is an 16 year old up and coming female artist playing a live acoustic set. She’s from London, Ontario and has been singing her whole life. She is compared to Adele and Lorde.
